Was looking for a golden retriever puppy and found a breeder out of Norfolk, Virginia. Conversed with the lady for a day before actually purchasing this 12 week old female golden retriever. The lady claimed to have dropped the puppy and her belongings off at the airport, then the shipping company was messaging me and calling me about needing a pressurized crate due to impending weather. The puppy had missed her initial flight and was rescheduled to the next morning. Everything looked good, her tracking status was "Active", then the shipping company called again claiming she was in Indianapolis and needing shots due to being in a stressed state for too long. That's when I knew for sure there was no puppy. The breeder stopped messaging me and I hadn't heard from the shipping company anymore either after expressing my concern yet again.
