Apparently I was one of their first victims, since the questions posted online about them are from 8/31/20 and later. They advertised sharply discounted Lego sets, I think on Facebook - so Facebook should be told to discontinue their ads! I should've realized the ads were not that professionally done and the prices were too good to be true. I made a payment with my Discover card on 8/31 for supposedly $39.89. (When I checked my statement lately, it said $41.88.) The receipt I got should have alerted me: they said it would appear on my statement as "ClothApparels." I kind of guessed it was a Chinese company. 3 weeks later I e-mailed them to ask where my Legos were. They wrote back, giving me an authentic USPS tracking number. (Sorry I can't find that e-mail now.) The package had been delivered on 9/16. Unfortunately for me, that was when my husband and I were on vacation. It was a pair of sunglasses (Tom Ford brand) in a nice velvet case! We had all wondered why we got it. (By the way, when I looked more closely at the pkg in order to take photos for you, I noticed they even said "toys" for the content! More evidence this is part of the same scam.) Then my sons told me about this scam that's been happening; they sent me an online ScamPulse.com article about it: brushing. That's why I'm writing here. And yes, I just noticed that the tracking number they sent me and the one on the pkg containing the dark glasses are the same! When I tried to call the Colorado number that was on the receipt, all I got was an automated message that said "the Google voice customer is not available," or something to that effect. I'm planning to call Discover to see if I can get my money back. The other phone number above is what was on the package that arrived, assuming it's part of the same scam.
