Type of a scam Employment
After searching through our records and based on the geographic zip code provided as a reference number, it does not appear that we have a record of you ever filling out an application, nor have you spoken personally to anyone at our company. We’re not sure which website you were referring to (we have more than one) or even if you have the right company.
As part of our employment process, we do provide independent contracts to some part-time skilled technology specialists (like web developers etc.,) who want to work from home. Our vetting process includes the following:
1. Fill out an application online. (Please note we DO NOT ask for a social security number or federal tax ID on our application as was implied).
2. A resume must be submitted with the application (Again no requirement for social security number or federal tax ID)
3. Applicants must agree to work history verification and project management training
4. W-9s, are the last step in the process and only requested after work has been completed and payroll is ready to cut checks.
Our commitment is to treat all applicants fairly, with respect and above all protect their data. Because we have no record of you contacting us, we would appreciate an opportunity to talk with you about what motivated you to write this review. We are constantly working on improving all aspects of our operations.
