My computer froze up with a warning that it had been hacked and to call a number immediately....not to shut down or try and turn off the computer otherwise all info would be lost. I fell for it and called :( They offered to do a "repair and cleanup". Following that I was offered network firewall protection.....something I needed to do IMMEDIATELY. Again, I thought this was a legit company so I signed up for Hi end lifetime policy. I never thought I'd be a sucker for a scam, but not being computer savy, they got this old lady. :( I woke up in the middle of the night questioning what I had done and lo and behold, when I tried looking up the business I realized my mistake.
