Brighter Tax, set one price with me. I submitted all documents requested. Paid $800 and had my husband pay $400. They keep trying to milk us for more over several months since Nov2020, they claim our "case is is more complicated than they thought; the IRS have iost our documents from previous year, etc." When I supplied them with all past returns, then they say the will get back to us, however their story is always the same. I want to sue them for the money the took from us know we were at a true hardship including unemployment. We have seen no results.

I have used one independent tax professional for my entire adult life and have never considered or spoken to someone about considering a new tax professional. I also do not owe any money in taxes and haven't for as long as I can remember.

However, I received a text message from them saying:

"Hey it's David Anderson with Brighter Tax, we spoke a while back about your Tax Matters. Shortly after, we received notive they'll dismiss about 90% of what you currently owe based on your financial situation. To accept, call 951-345-4066 by 5 PM today and receive your offer while we have you on the line."
