"Jim" called following my response to their mailing, which came on an error-free 5 x 8 postcard addressed to my wife. The card invited us to take part in the "Mount Laurel Tour & Travel Focus Group." I called the number on the card and stated our interest in taking part in a local focus group. "Jim" called the next day. He verified name, address and phone number and scheduled us for a Zoom focus group session on 4 October at 3:30 p.m. Other sessions were on 3, 7, 8 & 9 October. The sessions on 3 & 4 October were at 3:30 or 6; those on the other dates were at 3:30, 6 and 8:30. He was specific about logging in 15 minutes early and expecting to spend one hour viewing a presentation. The focus groups were said to seek clues for better customer service. Cruise lines advertised on the card and during the conversation were Carnival, Norwegian and Royal Caribbean. I have kept the card if you wish to receive it. "Jim", who spoke unaccented English, gave the phone number entered above as his; the general phone number on the card was 888-608-4502. The card came from PO Box 11010, Loudenville, NY 12211. The alleged reward for our time and opinion was to be a 3, 5 or 7-night all-expense paid cruise including air on one of the above lines for two adults to be taken within a year after the focus group. Cruise selection would occur after the Zoom meeting. The link for the meeting is https://zoom.us/93648413990.
