Hey! She (or he) is a scammer! Stay clear! I did not take the bait- but now I see she is selling a Jeep Cherokee Sport fo 1000 firm, husband died, yada, yada! I hope someone knows how to report this crap- more people will fall victim! mike

SAME SCAM - $1,000 TRUCK FOR SALE - HUSBAND DIED AND SELLING - PAY EBAY MOTORS WITH EBAY GIFT CARDS - I FELL FOR IT BECAUSE MY TRUCK DIED - THE AD SHOWED UP ON FACEBOOK MARKETPLACE - THEN THEY REQUESTED $800 INSURANCE FOR DELIVERY OF TRUCK - THEN I INVESTIGATED! INVOICES LOOKED REAL TOO...I MADE A POLICE REPORT, FTC REPORT, AND A FRIEND IN FBI WILL HELP ME FIND HER. SHE GOT MY $1,000 AND I WILL GET HER.

Same email - same scam tried with my nephew. Said she was in Nebraska.

eBay will only accept payments with credit cards, PayPal, or other legit payments - never gift cards of any card. Clear flag of a scam of any kind. And they will always send you and email AND a message to your eBay account.

Emailed [email protected] selling a truck on Facebook Marketplace. I was asked to email a person. they have my name (but not my full name) phone no. and our business email address but nothing else. I was told I would receive a invoice from Ebay motors which I found in my spam folder asking me to pay with eBay gift cards, researched it and found a similar article of the scam.
