calling a medical office on a saturday morning, not OK: get a mental disability certificate ASAP. Reported to FTC.

- Woodstock, GA, USA

Not sure if Brivia is the actual name of this outfit or if they stole some old phone numbers of theirs. They call almost every day, sometimes more than once, each time using a different number in a different city so call blocking isn't very effective. The last several times they've called, the name "Brivia Comm" shows up in the caller ID window. The number that is displayed is somewhat interesting as the area code is (456). Here's what Wikipedia says about that area code:

"Area code 456 was a non-geographic numbering plan area code (NPA) used until 2017 to route inbound calls from outside the territories of the North American Numbering Plan to specific carriers for carrier-specific services.[1]

In November 2017, NPA 456 was withdrawn because of lack of demand. The code is scheduled to be returned to the pool of unassigned NPAs in 2023."

All I ever hear is a recorded message stating that my car's warranty is about to expire. Actually, none of my automobiles are anywhere near having a warranty any more, so they are not getting actual information from any legitimate source, they're just fishing.

So I'm getting calls from an area code that shouldn't even exist.
