The lease agent called me requesting to do the application fee in 24 hours. If I didn’t respond in 24 hours or if I didn’t pay the application fee in 24 hours she would take me out of the waitlist. When I went in person to do the application she requested a money order of $65 and the paystubs. I found this weird because I had applied before on this apartment and the application was done in the computer for a different fee. I suspect she wants to pocket the $65. She was in a rush to get the money order and she repeated constantly that if I didn’t do it within the same day I would lose my spot on the waitlist. I didn’t pay her the money order and walked away.
