The scammer initially shared a great deal on Craigslist for a car. Once contacted, a scammer by the name of Penelope gave me a different email to continue discussing the details of the deal. The next person gave me a sob story about a recent family death and stated that was the reason for the good deal. They try to put pressure on you by saying they are talking to several people. The scammer ignored all my questions about meeting in person and seeing confirmation of ownership of the vehicle. The scammer said the car was located in ND where his son had lived and died (claiming the car was his). All that was need was a deposit for the shipping of the car to my address. The scammer’s website is falsely using the ScamPulse.com seal on their website to fake a credible business.
