Type of a scam Counterfeit Product
This morning I selected a shotgun from their site, and placed an order. They only accept payment from Zelle, so I set up with my bank, the ability to use Zelle, to transfer the funds.
I was then instructed to transfer the $509 payment to [email protected].
This aroused my suspicion, so I contacted the Browning Firearms legal department by telephone.
They informed me that Browning Arms USA is a fraudulent site, and is no way authorized to sell their products.
Based on this information, I did not complete the transaction.
All of the emails from this bogus company originated from [email protected]
I have reported this to the Security Department at Zelle.
