I received what looked to be a legitimate email from [email protected] on 1/6/2025 stating that my application to British Airways had been accepted and to attend an orientation for an airport operations position on 2/3/2025. I thought I had applied through Jobcase or a similar site. I clicked on a link and filled out an E3 hire card and entered my email and date of birth. I then paid $131.00 for a background check to BACKGROUNDS FAST 305-7997012 WY S465006615446518 (on my bank statement).
