Initial email was through a “recruiter” saying they have an opening for a jr assistant with a cryptocurrency. The email it has you send your resume to is an @lexus.co.uk which is weird enough. Then you get handed off to a “Paula Stevens” with an [email protected] email asking for your resume again and location as well as a time for the “phone manager” to call you. She includes a pdf with full job description and pay saying you’re even going to be paid for training & you can make $900 a week and up to $1500 a month handling $25k in client’s money. It doesn’t exactly make sense. She says an Andy Beckman will call you and then Andy emails you from the same email address with the website address for you to check out. The website looks legit at first but none of the social media links work and the “Porfessionals” that run the company are Adobe stock images. That’s when I decided not to go any further. Andy did call me 2x and left a voice message — weird foreign accent I can’t quite place but definitely not American or New Yorker. The job description leads me to believe you’d essentially be a money mule. Beware!
