On September 7, 2016 I received a message that appeared to come from Microsoft saying that my computer was infected, and I needed to call them immediately. Because I thought that Microsoft sanctioned Bubble PC it seemed more creditable. My computer was frozen, the message said not to turn the computer off as I would lose all my data. It really seemed I needed their help, so I called. When I called, they said that they were part of Microsoft, so I thought it was safe.

At that time, I paid $399.98 for lifetime network security plus lifetime IP security and support. The receipt said the grand total should have been $499.98 but they reduced it by $100.

I am unable to locate all the receipts but at some point, I purchased Cyber Insurance. I received a phone call that said that my computer is infected again, and they can help me. The receipt says that I purchased Cyber Insurance. This is part of what it covers. “Any further securities or License required will be covered under Cyber Insurance”. The receipt also said that “the money you are paying today will be refunded to the same card except taxes till January 2021. Another $199.99 was paid, I never saw a refund.

On July 28, 2020, I received another call. They said that my computer was infected yet again. This time it was another $199.99.

On May 11, 2021 I received another call. I let them into my computer again and all the sudden it was frozen. He showed me that Anti Key Logger were hacking my devices. I gave them another $199.99.

I am very embarrassed about all of this. I was scammed, I let it go on for all these years. I am 83 years old and on a fixed income.

On May 19th, 2020, I received a second email from a company named Bubble PC that I renewed a 3 yr. online technical support for $400.00 and will be credited to my account which I E-signed.I did not click on any links, I did not sign anything, I never heard of this company in my life. This email is 100% Fraud, & scam. The Manager's name is James Dixon, manager of Bubble PC, the address is 17 White Street New York, NY, 10013, USA. Their phone numbers are 1-646-687-5294 or 1-828-662-0767 They are trying to say I signed a 3 yr. contract, I never heard of this fake business & stress to anyone who receives an email such as this to not click on anything, file a complaint or fraud such as this. They claim I would be credited, but so far I don't see where they tried, that's why I will not click on any of their links.

The Bubble PC phone number came up after I googled "tech support for Yahoo.com". I needed help with an issue on yahoo, and called them. While they were supposedly helping me with my issue, they saw that my computer had been hacked. I had previously confirmed with my email server that my computer was hacked, so that much was true. They said they provided tech support, and that they were affiliated with Yahoo.com. I bought a "5 year plan" for $100. They actually did clean up the hacking. I was having trouble getting access to social media sites, because of the hacking; and after I paid for their help, I no longer had that problem. Basically, they legitimately did help me for about 7 months, in order to gain my trust. One day, seven months later, I see a pop-up that looks like my files were being transferred somewhere. Several other warning pop-ups came up, vertically, from the top to bottom, on the right side of my computer screen. They claimed to be from Microsoft Defender, and said data was being removed from my computer. I called Bubble PC, and gave them access to my computer. They claimed that a 3rd party had removed 60% of my data to another server, and told me this was "ransom ware". They said that I would be extorted to pay thousands of dollars, to get my data back. I said my computer wasn't even worth that much, but they claimed that this would continue with my accounts on another computer. They said they could easily stop the data transfer and get my data back for $1,200. I told them I had paid them money to prevent something like this from happening in the first place, and that I couldn't afford it. They lowered their fee to $600. Apparently, they scam on a sliding scale. I told them they were the ones trying to ransom me, but they are great with false explanations for things, and did not waver in trying to sound legitimate. I ended the call and took my computer to our repair people who cleared the hard drive, and then reinstalled the saved data. This was unnecessary from a safety standpoint, but I only realized that later. In reading another ScamPulse.com complaint, it seems I still would have had to deal with their pop-ups if I hadn't cleared the hard drive.

Called to offer a refund on service. Tried to open a paypal account to send funds. Failed attempt to transfer funds, so bought iTunes gift card to set up transfer account. Called next day and said there was a problem and our local police department would contact me. Someone called using our local police phone #. It was a scam.
