I saw the job ad on Indeed, it was a work from home position. Recieving and checking packages, uploading photos of the items to the control panel, print the label off and then send the package off. I was told that they have a month probation period in which I would not be getting paid. After the first month I would receive a paycheck of $2,400 after that I would receive my W2 to fill out and get paid every two weeks. Today is the last day of my month. I was supposed to get paid today but I received a call from Lisa saying I would get paid tomorrow( friday). I got online and tried to login to the control panel, I can not. I tried calling Lisa, my call does not go thru. I sent her an email and I have no reply. I was really counting on this paycheck to pay rent, catch up on rent and also buy neccesssacties for my daughter. Instead I am going to court to be evicted. Now I am looking for somewhere for me and my one year old daughter to live. Please stay away from this company. It hurts to go thru this and there is nothing you can do about it.

The scammer placed an ad upon several job posting websites such as Indeed and LinkedIn (***) under different company names. After applying, you would be sent to another website to fill out another form on the company website. A few days later, you would be contacted by someone claiming to be a representative of the company. They would ask a few questions such as whether or not you have worked from home and if you were available to start immediately. They would then give you details on the job, saying it was a work from home position where you would receive and ship packages from various companies under the guise of quality checking the package for damage to both the contents and the packaging itself.
There would be a one month trial period after which you would get paid. The trial period started at $600/week, and then would get bumped up to $1500/1700 per week after the one month trial. There was no buy in as the package would already be paid going to you as well as a shipping label provided for you, but you would have to give your personal information such as driver's license to confirm your identity and fill out a W-2 form, as well as sign a contract. There was also opportunity for bonuses where if you shipped a package out within one business day of receiving the shipping label.
After agreeing to sign on, you got a call from the woman who was to be your training manager named "Lisa Chang". She would go over your work tasks with you and tell you to call her if you had any questions. However, if you did attempt to call her, the number would either not connect and you would get an error or there would be a perpetual busy signal. Calling the number from the email you received from "HR" would direct you to the customer help line of a company not named BuisHub.
After becoming an official employee, they would send you a control panel website which would be your work station, would say they would not track hours but would instead focus on your activity in the control panel, but the purported work hours were from 9:30am to 6:30pm. The work process was to receive a package, inspect it for damage, take a picture of the shipping label, open the package, inspect the contents for damage without opening the factory packaging, take pictures of the contents and the packing list that arrived with it, repackage it, and then take a final picture of the prepared package with the new shipping label and upload these images to an inspection form on the control panel.
They would assign you tasks individually, where you would mark them received as you saw them. When packages arrived or you were to go pick up a package, you would mark it as "package received", and when the shipping label came in and you had sent the package back out, you were to mark it as "package sent". On the occasion where you had to drive somewhere to pick up a package, the bonus would be higher for shipping it back out. I'm not sure of others' experiences, but I was sent to several Home Depots and one UPS location within 10 miles of my address to pick up packages. There were also occasions where you would receive unanticipated packages (ones not previously listed in the control panel). At which point you would fill out an "unregistered parcel" form, submit it, and they would update your tasks with this new one.
There was a support team you could contact within the control panel itself. They would respond in a somewhat timely fashion To assist with your work, they also sent a pallet of cardboard boxes of varying sizes for which they did not ask for compensation in return.
After the end of the one month trial period, all correspondences ceased. No emails were responded to. The numbers either connected to a company under a different name or were perpetually busy.

This company hired me for a in home job. Basically, I inspected the packages they send, print off the labels and reship them. They used a platform called the Control Panel to track packages and report to them what you have received. They never sent me packages with my name on them, it would always be a different person name in another random state. They stared by telling me my pay would be a weekly amount of $600 a week but I wouldn't receive my first check for a month. I worked for them for that month and never received anything. I spent my own money for shipping material and to ship packages. I realized then it was a scam and I haven’t heard anything back from them and the phone on file doesn’t work.
