I did an internet search trying to find a place to purchase ammo. Specifically 30-30 Win Ammo by Remington 150 gr. This website of Bulk9mmammo.org had it for $295.00 for 500 Rounds with $30 Shipping fee. I ordered it. Received confirmation of order until payment has been received. Got a text message from Matt **** saying he was from Bulk 9 mm ammo store, he'd received the order. Said payment needed to be made using paypal Friends & family app to ****************************** I questioned him about it sounding like a scam. He replied "We are a legitimate company we have been selling ammunition & guns for quite a few years. Scamming people is against our policy & against humanity. Also I am a father and I know what it means to loose hard earned money to [censored]...You have nothing to worry about. We also have a refund policy so if you don't get your order as expected we can do a refund. Once your payment is confirmed you will get your tracking information from UPS, EMS or FedEx or DHL." I made payment to email as instructed it went to ****** ****** ****** ***** **** **** confirmed payment via text. I was told it was shipping on 8/31/22 at 2:49 pm. I then received an email on 9/7/22 at 11:22 am from ************************ stating "URGENT!!! REFUNDABLE LOAD INSURANCE REQUIRED TO DELIVER YOUR PACKAGE. Welcome to universal Freights Movers, we have a package in our possession from Matt **** which should be delivered to the address: xxx, xxx, Joplin, MO xxxxx "(which is my address) "The packaging is in a discreet wooden box to avoid damages and the shipment will be delivered within 5 hours. We wish to inform you that your shipment must be insured before we can proceed with delivery. The contents of the package appear to be "discreet", which means that we do not know the content and have received rigorous instructions from the sender to be as discreet as possible. ... "You will have to pay a refundable cargo insurance of $500. This cargo insurance is 100% refundable upon delivery of the shipment. This refundable loading insurance is valid for 12 months as such, you can ship other items using the same coverage for 12 months under insured period. We invite you to contact via email for payment instructions." I replied back to Matt **** that I wasn't paying $500 when I'd already paid the $30 shipping fee. I told him the order he accepted & the website I ordered from made no mention of this fee. I told him if it was 100% refundable then he needed to pay it & be refunded the $500 once it was delivered to me. I requested a cancellation and refund of my money $325 since he said they had a refund policy. He replied that I couldn't get a refund. He insisted on the fee & has now stopped responding altogether. I can't afford to lose the $325 I'm already out and certainly not an additional $500. The Bulk9mmammo website has a ScamPulse.com logo and says accredited. Please try to get me a refund or the delivery of my order to make this right.
