Type of a scam Investment
Yesterday evening I started online order process but encountered problems (and red flags?!) and sent e-mail replies to Bright Bullion for assistance. They initially replied, but, as before, with only very brief messages... vague responses, omitting some helpful details I requested. Online order form provides for Billing-Shipping address, but billing address and current temporary shipping address differs... so that led to confusion (and suspicion).
Today I canceled initial order because it listed my current temporary residence (shipping address) as my billing address. I placed another order, using my billing address (permanent mailing address). I eventually received follow-up e-mails today, instructing me to prepare personal checks to first copy (photograph) and mail to the following payee: ***** ***g
*** Parma Drive, Clayton, DE 19938
I chose credit card as payment method (online order form), so these contrary instructions raised only more red flags. Based on what I wrote here, and after adding up the clues, this really smacks of a big scam! Rhodium is a very rare precious metal and is currently extremely hard to find (for investment purposes in the form of coins-bullion). So, the fact that Bright Bullion (or suspected scammer) claims to have it so readily available, raised only more red flags.
Any actions you can take are most welcome. Thank you!
