Hi, I would like to report a phishing scam and describe some of the techniques they used. The ID said Bumblebee Plumbing. I answered because I was curious as to why they were calling and I figured they had the wrong number. When I answered, I introduced myself and asked how I could help them. I found out it was definitely NOT Bumblebee Plumbing. This technique is called neighbor spoofing. This is where they take a number or name of a person or business we know or have heard of and try to make you answer the phone and make you think it is actually the person or business you are talking to.
