I received an email forwarded from what looked like my boss's email from Scott Clymire with an invoice attached, along with a W9. My boss asked me to pay it (but again, I didn't notice that the email address was a junk address, not my boss's) by ACH as requested. I paid it and FORWARDED the email to my boss letting him know it was paid. He immediately called me to tell me that he never asked me to pay it, didn't contract consulting services from them and it was a scam. I was confused because I thought we had been having a conversation about getting it paid! I immediately called our bank to get the ACH reversed and am now in the process of trying to get that done.
