I was contacted by the company to purchase attorney information (41,300) from a directory that my business information is on. I was contacted with a sample of 5 different attorneys and their information by Vanessa Weisberg. I agreed to receive invoice and continued to contact the attorneys listed- of whom said that they did not agree to having their information sold. By this time I was contacted by these emails: [email protected], [email protected], [email protected] of which the companies that these "people" work for do not have any information on them. The invoice came to 2999.99 and the Vanessa person continued to contact me if I had paid when I was given a month to do so- If I wanted to purchase. I continued to look up the company listed on the invoice and Quantum Contacts is selling other business information that is taken off a basic google search. When I called the company there wasnt a business greeting of the company name just a person who said hello. When I asked if this was the Quantum Contacts then I was greeted with, "Oh yea, yes, yes This is Quantum contacts LLC." I asked for more information about the company and process and explained what I found of the information provided and he said that, "we have another company reach out to people. We also send attorneys emails to see if they want to opt out or fill out the survey. If they do not respond then we put their information in the list provided." I asked a question that had nothing to do with the attorneys and more for the informational piece on if they call the attorneys to verify information and the person on the phone repeated the "we have another company reach out to people. We also send attorneys emails to see if they want to opt out or fill out the survey. If they do not respond then we put their information in the list provided." I asked how long they have been open for business and if there they are listed as other names and then it was repeated again, ""we have another company reach out to people. We also send attorneys emails to see if they want to opt out or fill out the survey. If they do not respond then we put their information in the list provided." I did ask to be taken off the list since I did not reach out to them for this service.
