The Scammer is using our family name, and my fathers name, and our address. He claims to sell equipment (like tractors and trucks) and has people wire transfer him money. Then never gives them the equipment. He is using our address, so people are showing up at our farm looking for this equipment that is not there. People are calling us, cause they look up the address, where we run our business out of. We have to tell them that GoettschFarms.com is a scam and the guy is using my dads name. It is putting a bad name on our business's, which is Goettsch Farms (we farm), Goettsch Farms LLC (our trucking company), and Goettsch Ag Services (seed treating).

I was looking for a remote part time job on Zip Recruiter. There was a job opening for freelance virtual assistant. It sounded like the perfect opportunity because I could make my own hours and the pay was great. I was offered $200/post that I was supposed to receive every Thursday to post properties (homes) for rent on different websites like Craigslist, Zillow, Avail.co, etc. I did 4 postings and when it was time to pay, NOTHING!! The individual that contacted me was Mr. Thomas Betts but I noticed that in the postings he used the name Ryan Downs. I reached out to Mr. Betts about my pay and he assured me that his company was sending me the money. I never received my pay and never heard back from Mr. Betts/Ryan Downs. I contacted Zip Recruiter and they closed his posting. I'm a single mother of 3 children and I can't afford to work for free. I would hate for this person to take advantage of another person.

Scammer emailed an employee asking for him to purchase $1600.00 worth of ebay gift cards, scratch the back of them, and text them to this number: 4174131674. Employee did so because the scammer acted like our company's president, therefore the employee thought he was following his supervisor's instructions.
