Scammer portrayed to be a coworker within my company ( DISC surgery Center at Newport Beach). I had only worked at the company for about 2 weeks and was assigned designated email, username, etc. Scammer sent email stating to be one of the higher executives within the company that I know the name, yet never had any communications with.

Initial contact was via email asking for my cell .

second contact was via text message asking to do "her" a favor because she needed it ASAP.

requested I go to the nearest store and purchase 4 apple cards of $200 each.

Realized this could be a scam and asked them to call me .
