A scammer texted me, pretending to be my boss and used his full name. They said, "I'm on a call right now with some partners and I need you for a quick task, are you available?....I need some google cards to be added to an e-thank you card, can you confirm if you can get some google cards from the nearest store?" They then proceeded to explain they needed Google Play Cards, 5 x $100 each, and to let them know when I got to the store. They had my name as well, and used it when they first texted. I called my actual boss from my car before leaving, and he confirmed he did NOT text me from that number, nor would he ask me to buy gift cards.
