In September, 2024 this supposed magazine contacted me to offer advertising. I paid them $500 for an ad they said was going into print that fall. At first they were very convincing, I worked with a woman named Gina who offered me a free upgrade on ad space, got me in touch with a "graphics team", etc.
A few weeks later our business underwent a natural disaster and I contacted them to see if I could stop the ad and get our money back. "Gina" wasn't answering my texts or emails so I reached out to the main email. A few hours later an "Andrew" called then texted me and promised he could get us a refund. "No problem" he said. He told me the print wasn't until January, 2025.
I have been texting him off and on for 6 weeks with either no response or he gives an empty promise that the refund is coming. There has been no communication initiated by him regarding the refund, an update, or timeline. Nothing about this experience felt like dealing with a real business.
After telling them, after 3 weeks without contact, that i was reporting them they sent my refund within a few hours.
