Maryjo Buttercup Puppies

5 years ago, my mother brought home a puppy from maryjo. At this time I wasn't educated of ethical and responsible breeding. Health testing, pedigree of the parents, etc.
She was a happy puppy until about a year old, she started showing signs of discomfort. Her mouth had an odor, she wouldn't want to chew as much, I knew something was wrong. countless vet visits later, they could not give us an answer. after about these years, a DMV finally said she had Chronic Ulcerative Paradental Stomatitis.
we had treated her with antibiotics during these years, and now it had gotten untreatable with these antibiotics. The vet informed us she needed surgery or the issue will not be fixed. 5,000 in surgery, we had to have her teeth taken out. The antibiotics before this must've costed us hundreds of dollars.

In this scenario when she was showing these signs, maryjo said she couldn't help us, she didn't know was was wrong. She claimed "6 year health guarantee" what does that mean? she didn't pay a penny or guarantee anything.

I will now never make the mistake of going to unethical breeders that only care about money like her. Do NOT make the same mistake I did.

I found Buttercup Puppies online and on Facebook, selling supposedly Holistic puppies with a six year health warranty. She asked for a deposit of $500, never notifying me it was non-refundable. I gave her the deposit, via Zelle, on Tuesday, October 12th, 2021. On Wednesday, October 13th, 2021, one day later, it seemed odd she wasn't contacting me about the next steps to take to arrange to pick up the dog. I started looking online and saw horrible reviews on Yelp regarding this breeder being a puppy broker, selling dogs that were not healthy, with a good temperament, etc. So, I asked for my deposit back. She stated it was non-refundable, which was news to me. She then blocked me from her page on Facebook. (https://www.facebook.com/buttercuppuppies/)
