Back on June 9, 2022 I was on Facebook when I noticed something in the top right corner mentioning something tragic about Lisa LaFlamme, the news anchor from CTV. I clicked on it and it took me to a website advertising Live Well CBD Gummies. I thought this was a very sneaky way to get people to their website but I also read some amazing claims made by various other celebrities about how effective this product is for treating various ailments. I decided to order a couple of bottles to try. As time went by I never received my order. I contacted the company and was told it was shipped out and is most likely held up at a warehouse depot somewhere in transit. More time went by and I never received my product. I called back again and was told it must have gotten lost. At this point they offered to send out another order to replace the lost one and that I should receive it in about 2 weeks. That was over 2 weeks ago now and I still haven't received anything. I called back on September 29, 2022 and spoke with an agent. Before we could finalize anything I was disconnected. I called back twice more and after being on hold for some time I was disconnected again both times. I called back a third time and spoke with a different agent. I complained about how long it's taking to receive my order. He said he would escalate my complaint and transfer me to someone else. I was again disconnected. I decided to do some online research to see if Lisa Laflamme was in fact the CEO of this company. I found out she is not at all associated with this company and does not endorse anything with them. I found other articles claiming that there are many scams online for this type of product. I then contacted my credit card company and filed a dispute with them regarding the charges on my credit card. I still have the Live Well website saved onto my favourites on my laptop. I would like to see them shut down to prevent other people from getting scammed.
