My daughter gave me a site though LinkedIn that now she thinks was hacked. she said it would be a perfect part time job for me seeing that I'm retired. I filled out the application and sent it through the web. I received something via email the next day, telling me that I was excepted to work for them. They gave me a list of all the things that where going to happen and even some attachments to open for more definitive explanation. I did not open any attachments because I think they can hack my email account from opening them. After sending them an email or two to them, asking a few questions, with out clear or any responses. About a week later I received an envelope with check in it with a total of 2411 dollars. Since the part of me saying they didn't respond to a few of my emails I started to get suspicious. I ended up calling the bank on the check to see if the check was for real and it was fraudulent check. So, I did not lose any money but did give out my information minus my SS#.
