Called a phone number found by searching xfinity customer service phone number about Xfinity outage and the scammer proceeded to tell me they were looking into the problem. Then they tried and sell me on a less expensive monthly Xfinity cable subscription. Sent codes to my phone and email with links to provide personally identifiable information. They have my phone number and address but I didn't give birthdate or ssn. Started getting suspicious so looked back at search results and realized phone number was from cable internet.shop, not Xfinity.
