Was having tv issues and typed Xfinity in the search bar. Called the first number that populated. Did not pay attn that the caller did not identify as Xfinity. After referring to the tv issue, caller mentioned in a deceitful way if I upgraded/switched to Direct TV I could get discounts. To sign up they needed information: name dob soc sec#. Im uncertain if I provided phone# and email. I stopped before providing financial information, realizing too late the error I had done and cut the call short. I was provided another phone# to call 646-663-1211 x4089. When I called back I was told the person was on break and would call back - they did not.
