I saw a add on Craigslist that was to good to be true. It was for a 2005 Fleetwood BOUNDER DIESEL 34H motor home for $9500. I was skeptical about the but I asked the poster for more pictures. She sent the picture and then said I would have to email the shipper that had the motor home with full name, address and email. They would then deliver it to me and I would have 5 days to test it out. If I didn’t want it I could return it for full refund. That really made me nervous. So I sent another email and asked what state it was in and she said it was in St. Cloud MN. I live 15 miles form St. Cloud so I drove there and found the address that was on there web site belongs to a rental company. The other address for their other company Brookings Logistic belongs to a snack food company. I also had called the phone numbers and was asked if I received a email from them and when I said no the hung up on me and would not answer when I called back. I did not give them my info other than may email or send any money. I just wanted people to know this is going on.

Saw an ad November 10 th 2018 or so on Craigslist Orlando, FL for a Mercedes Sprinter Van that was in excellent condition and for sale for a fraction of its value. It was "being held by Caldwell Green Transportation, a company out of St Cloud, MN who was the escrow company for the owner of the van, Ms. Emma Palmer". Ms. Palmer "is the owner and a flight attendant, so she could not due the transaction in person due to her travel obligations." The price was $9100. I communicated with Ms. Palmer several times at [email protected] and via text at phone number (786) 504-4835. Supposedly as soon as I wire the money in full to Caldwell, they will ship the vehicle to me in Florida and I will then have 5 days to inspect the vehicle before deciding whether or not to take it. If I don't take it, I get a full refund of my money from Caldwell. They even emailed me a bogus car fax for the vehicle which looked legit (see attached)

I found a posting on Craigslist for a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee for sale for $7150. When I connected the person that had made the posting I was referred to a company named Caldwell Green Transportation. I received an email from the company that immediately went to my spam inbox. I called and spoke with a man named Alex about the transaction. I then checked the website, it appeared fairly professional. I noticed at the bottom though that the company losing was under another name, "Brookings Logistics". So I looked into this company and found that it was further linked to a company named Yellow Transport and had been linked to several scan cases. Luckily I did all my research before wiring the payment.

Payment Guarantee Policy

1. Buyer and seller agree to terms

Both parties agree to terms and conditions of the transaction, which includes a description of the item, sale price and number of days for the buyer's inspection of the item.

2. Buyer Pays Caldwell Green Transportation

The buyer submits payment using the payment instructions above. Processing time for payments is less than 24 hours.

3. Caldwell Green Transportation ships the item

Upon payment verification, Caldwell Green Transportation starts the shipping process. Caldwell Green Transportation verifies that the buyer receives the item. The inspection period begins once the item is delivered.

To protect you against the risk of liability, Caldwell Green Transportation holds the buyer's funds pursuant to the terms of the Caldwell Green Transportation Buyer Protection Program Policy, and any other agreement entered between Brookings Logistics and its customers. When payment is received, it will be verified and secured into a non-interest bearing trust account. After payment is secured, Caldwell Green Transportation ships the item to the buyer.

Caldwell Green Transportation Payment Guarantee Policy is a unique benefit that offers you protection from unwarranted refunds, allowing you to accept more high risk orders. For all eligible transactions, we will completely reimburse you for any refunds resulting from claims of unauthorized purchases and non-receipt of goods.

Protection and Refund

Once the item is delivered, the buyer has a five ( 5 ) days inspection period. After the inspection period is over, the buyer will contact Caldwell Green Transportation with the results of the inspection. If, for any reason, the item does not pass the Purchaser's inspection, it will be returned to the seller, on seller's expense and the funds will be returned to the buyer, in full in within 24 hours.

For safety reasons the payment details will be dealt with the utmost security and will not be handed to any third parties. Caldwell Green Transportation will be in full control of the funds as soon as it reaches our trust fund account, so we will be able to protect and guarantee your funds. Once the funds have been sent to our trust fund account, no one but the Purchaser will have access to it.
