I applied to a few jobs on linked in that I later figured out were scams. I received a text message about a week later from "Edwin", hiring manager. Did not mention company name or anything. Asked me to click a link to schedule a meeting time as a new member since they think I'd be a great fit. Googled number and came up as scam

I was looking for remote data entry jobs on Google, CarRentalRate showed up, with several different jobs that fit. I applied by giving my resume, phone# and email. I was contacted via text telling me to schedule an appointment to join a webinar, so I did. I also received emails from them. During the webinar I took screenshots of the claims made, and also notes, which I included below. The webinar was a recorded video made to seem live, with fake comments on the bottom. It was about 30 minutes long, and at the end you were told to subscribe monthly or pay a yearly fee.

Scammer sent a text to me stating his name was "Edwin" and he was the hiring manager, but did not list the company or the position applied for. I had been applying for multiple jobs and thought this was for one of them. There was a link to schedule an interview and when I went to the site, the only available option was for tomorrow, which I thought was odd but I proceeded. Afterwards, I received a confirmation email and an email that was supposed to have a link for the interview but there was no link. I searched the phone number since I couldn't find an "Edwin" in the jobs I'd applied for and all the results were regarding scams.
