On 5/23/2024 I emailed the contact email on their website [email protected] and asked about the status of my order, as I had not received any more updates for 3 days after the order was confirmed. Instead of getting an email response, I got a text message from a phone number 619-659-4640 in which someone named 'steve' told me I'd need to call them about my order. I tried calling the number twice and there was no answer. I responded to the text message and was told by 'steve' that the product I ordered was out of stock, even though the website said they were in stock and they accepted my money, and he told me that I would need to choose a different flavor. I asked him what flavors they did have available via text and got no response from him. I suggested flavors I would be okay with and 'steve' finally responded saying he would send out the flavors I suggested. After this text conversation I immediately got another email from [email protected] via store.smtp.bigcommerce.net that my order had been updated to 'shipped', but there was no tracking number. I found it suspicious and texted 'steve' to provide me with the tracking number. He never responded again to my calls, texts or emails asking for the shipping information, and I have sent many.
I believe the scammer used a fake website that doesn't have any of the products it has listed in stock to scam me and likely others into getting money. If they had actually shipped out an order, they wouldn't be ignoring my contact attempts to get an order tracking number.
