Calima Hashim , handyman of All around the House Repair and Installation Services, Edison, NJ came along with his wife, Shakeema t do few installation and repair service . He fixed his labor charge for 400 and said his work will be done in a day. However he took 4 days to finish half of the job , but took the full service charge by cash on the 2nd day itself. He broke several blinds while working on them.He cut the blinds at different levels ,some drags on the floor...some high.He left the blinds in two places too low on the baseboard that it caused fire hazard ( melted the blinds once the heat turned on and I had to call the Firehouse).He bought blinds and some other material from home depot. He bought materials in excess of what was needed for work..and kept the excess ones for himself. Material charges and tip came to 780 which I first paid by check. He messages me saying he could not cash the check and his wife Shakeema returns the check to me next day and takes 780 by cash.He gives a receipt saying that I paid all the amount in the full by cash. Even after a week he does not return the finish the rest of the job and when I talk about working having taken this long and some of the problems with the work, he messages back using disrespectful words and threatens to take me to court! He refused to come back to finish his job.Few days later I also find out that he cashes the check of 780 also in an online bank. He did not return my email about the same.
