I was trying to buy a English Bulldog puppy for my daughter for Christmas. I found a breeder from El Paso Texas. I sent a Money gram to the seller for $500 with an additional $150 for shipping. I was later told by the courier (they said the worked for U Ship), they needed $850 for insurance on the puppy. I sent it via Money Gram again (the breeder told me this was normal (I was told the deposit was refundable after delivery). Later the same afternoon I was told by the courier the puppy was going through a lot of stress and was struggling and I needed to send another $400 to treat the puppy before they could get it here to me (I sent it via money gram again). I received a text message saying the puppy landed safely. The next morning, I was told the puppy died along with several other puppies in the flight. They said they wanted to compensate me for my loss and wanted my banking info so they could wire me the money ($12,000). They are still communicating with me trying to get another $1600 for processing. I have spoken to the courier several times (the breeder would not call me). He has a thick Asian accent (very hard to understand).
