After searching the internet for a specific breed of cat (Balinese), I reached out to Camille's Balinese Cattery with an inquiry regarding a specific kitten and the availability. They responded giving me detailed info on a specific kitten I was looking at. I requested referrals so that I could reach out and get some feedback as well as find out the legitimacy of this Cattery. They were given a raving review. So, after giving it some thought and searching to see if there were any reports of fraud on them and didn't find any, I decided to go ahead and move forward. They sent me over a contract that looked legitmate, listing everything we had discussed via email. They requested I pay by Cash app, Bitcoins, Zelle or Apple Pay. I had none of these and so they sent me info to send money via Venmo. They had problems retrieving the money so they refunded it back to me and asked I send it via Apple Pay. At this point I began getting a little suspicious. After having a phone conversation with someone named Michael from Camille's Balinese Cattery, he was very apologetic and was working to resolve it. I told him I would send him 1/2 then and the other 1/2 when I recieved the info that the kitten I had chosen would be transported on. I was told she would be flown to our local airport here. When I got the info on Monday 3/8/2021, it looked funny to me as well as had several errors on it. I contacted Michael after doing some research and told him that they popped up on a PetScam site, he told me that as a different company and sent me the link via email. I told him that I wouldn't give him anymore money until the kitten arrived at the airport and I had her in my hands. He kept telling me this transaction was legitamate, we have a contract to prove it and the carrier Net Freight Express Logistics was legitamate. He got angry with me, telling me I was in breach of our contract and that he was going to contact the shipping company and have the kitten returned. After some back and forth, he calmed down and told me that I would get my kitten today 3/9/2021 and she was arriving at our airport tonight at 6:00pm. I have yet to hear back from them today nor do I expect to.
