Type of a scam Worthless Problem-solving Service
Mr Negrete came to do the job but he took way too longer than he said he would. At the end of the day he did not have the water heater working. He charged me an extra $250.00 for the extra hour of work he claimed he did. He left saying the FOGATTI water heater was defective and that I should ask Fogatti for a replacement.
I contacted Foggatti and after a lot of back and forth discussion, FOGATTI sent me a replacement. Mr. Negrete came back and, charged me another $500.00 to install the second unit. Again, it didn't work. He claimed that the second unit was defective also and walked away. I contacted FOGATTI again. A Fogatti representative said that it is impossible for two units to have the same problem. Fogatti encouraged me to replace the installer (James Negrete). Fogatti was of the opinion that the installler did not know what he was doing. FOGATTI prooved this by sending one of their technicians to us. In less then 10 minutes the water heater was working. I sent the text pictures right away to Mr. Negrete which showed the unit working well. Not only did the FOGATTI technician get the water heater working, he also connected the gas alarm that I had next to the unit that Mr. Negrate claimed had to be replaced. Of couse, he wanted to charge me for this service also. The FOGATTI tech said that Mr. Negrete had NO IDEA what he was doing. The wiring he did was all messed up which could have been a fire hazzard. Also, the tech said that CAMPER KEEPERS not only overcharged me for his lousy installation job of the unit but Mr. Negrete placed the gas pipe in such a way that I cannot put back the drawer that he removed to place the GAS pipe in. I had to pay $300.00 to reconfigurate the gas pipe again in order to be able to place the drawer back in where it originally was.
Note: There is NO address for Mr. Negrete or an email address. This appears to be intentional.
I want the funds I spent to be returned to me. From the initial price for the job, I want $400.00 back for not accomplishing the installation as should have done, $250.00 for the extra charge on the initial price, $500.00 extra charge for coming back again for the installation of the second unit, and $125.00 I was charged without knowing the reason.
Please help me to resolve this case.
