I took my 5th wheel to Camping World to have a vent fan installed that I purchased from them and also repack the wheel bearings. Before I left they did a free roof inspection. Upon coming down from the roof the inspector stated I needed a new roof and the showed me a picture of a hole in the roof. He also stated there were several other areas that needed attention including another spot in front of the antenna.( Cost $800.00) I stated that, as the hole he took a picture of was small I would take care of it myself. He stated my insurance would take care of the cost of the roof replacement. I then ask him where the hole was located and declined the repair again. While the camper was being serviced they called me and stated I needed a complete brake replacement due to a grease seal leaking and grease glazed one brake shoe. The cost of the brake job was $1200.00. I declined the brake job due to the fact the camper has less then 3000 miles on it and I am the original owner. They repacked the wheel bearings and replaced the grease seals. I picked up the camper, bought a tube of roofing caulk from their store and returned home. The next day I went up on the roof with my new tube of caulk to repair the damaged roofing material. Upon inspection I couldn't find any damage at all, so I came back down, thought about it for awhile and thought I must have missed it, so I climbed back up and did a second through inspection but still could not find any damage. I talked to my wife about it and she stated I'm getting old and my eye sight is not as good as it used to be, so she inspected the roof and came up with the same result as I did. Camping World employees LIED to me about the roof and probably about the brakes also. I will pay a local mechanic to inspect them and sand the glazing from the brake shoe.
