Type of a scam Online Purchase
349.99 plus tax. (See attached invoice order). Please notice that the invoice
specified the package to include a 32GB SD Card, Head Strap,
Shorty stabilizer and spare Battery (about a $60 value). I did not receive the items that
were included in the package. I only received a camera.
On the day I received the camera, I called and spoke with Kim and was assured that inventory
would have those items shipped out within the week. One week later, I contacted Kim again
and was told there was no way CampSaver could send it to me but would take the
camera back and refund the money.
I was told that they could not help me because the camera was mailed after the error was
noticed in inventory. But since I was never notified during the two weeks prior that they would not be shipping the full order, and
they also accepted my credit card and it was paid for on the day it was ordered.
If I cannot trust CampSaver.com to give to me what was promised, I have no
intention of being stupid enough to mail back the camera.
As to their customer service, it is not good. I did contact GoPro to let them
know a third party vendor has not honored what they promised.
