Called Costco to cancel. Found number on Google. Took me to number where they asked whether they could hear her. I stated yes. They went on and on about whatever and then transferred me again. I hung up

Consumer received a call from 704-601-7665 stating "this is Customer Service, can you hear me?". Consumer stated "yes, what customer service is this?" and then disconnected call.

Consumer received a call stating "this is Josh your service representative. Can you hear me?". Consumer disconnected call and as she was hanging up consumer heard " you have won a disney ".

An employee received a call on her company cell phone. The caller said "You were recently on the job link sight. Can you hear me now?". The employee responded with "Yes" and the caller hung up. The employee did not know about the phone scam until after her co-worker overheard the conversation and then mentioned it.

Consumer has received three calls from different numbers in which the caller is asking if you can hear me okay. Consumer disconnects call without saying anything.

Consumer received a call in which the caller asks ... "Is this ____________?". When consumer confirmed that it was her she realized that it was a potential scam and disconnected call. Consumer then checked her credit card and found two pending charges for $31.00 and $50.00 and were to charities (SOS Children's Villages and Sixth Continent). Consumer called her credit card company to dispute charges.

Caller ID came up "unknown, caller out of area".

Consumer received two calls...

(1) from a woman who asked if he was still looking for a job to which the consumer stated yes

(2) from a woman who stated "Can you hear me okay?". Consumer states he stated yes

the second call was a recording and consumer was given the option to press 1 to be on the do not call list

Female voice apologized for dropping her headset and informed me that I was being called due to having stayed at one of their resorts. The voice then proceeded with a vacation package and said I would be transferred to someone else to ask some questions and asked "If that was Ok"..after brief silence on my part "I'm sorry I didn't get that. Can I ask you a few questions?" After another moment of silence, the call was disconnected.

Received a call from a man who stated "can you hear me okay?". After stating "yes", was offered a vacation. Consumer disconnected call.

At 1:29 PM ET, 27 January 2017, I received a phone call from NJ, (856) 424-7354

The caller asked "Can You Hear Me Now", I answered Yes, but when he kept talking I said, I am not interested and Hung Up. I immediately blocked the number on my phone.

On 28 January, I saw the Scam Alert on CNN and immediate alerted Sprint of this.
