This person contacted me through a personal number. Claiming to be a guy named Gene Kensington from Capital Lending. I had applied for a loan, and this guy wanted an 800$ security deposit which he said I would receive back after a 1year (I was looking for a type of secured loan) I paid the amount through e-transfer to a guy under the name of Chad Bowman.(stupid me sent the funds) andater this “Gene” guy contacted me later, saying the time frame for the application was expired, and inorder to re open the case file I had to pay another 900$ I told the guy forget it, and to give me a refund as I had not signed papers yet for the release of any so called funds. The guy then told me I would receive my refund on the 1st of May, which I never received. I’ve texted the number numerous times with no response. I’ve emailed and the email isn’t a verified email address, as my email was sent back to me. Watch out for “Capital Lending/Capital Lending Canada. They’re stinky and horrible waste
