I made an online purchase on 08/21/23 from an online business named Candle Shack BV Shop. The contact information listed on their website states that they are located at *** Rod Key Street, Lyndon VT 05851 (no phone number is listed), and when I searched on this address a residential property popped up that was sold in 2005, but no business was associated with it. Their website address is: https://www.candleshbvs.com. I did not receive any email confirmation from them when I placed my order, nor any notification saying it had been shipped, nor, when I did a search, did I find any email correspondence from them AT ALL. I made the purchase using my debit card, and today when I looked at my account online I noticed several charges to it ($853.36 total) that are not legitimate. I had to call my bank and have my debit card turned off, and now I will have to get a new one, which sadly I cannot do until Tuesday. I looked up this business on your site and it is not listed at all. When I did a Google search, another business popped up with an almost identical name, located in the UK. Hopefully you can investigate and at the very least get the illegitimate business that I ordered from shut down so that no one else is taken advantage of. Thank you so much for your assistance in this matter.
