BEWARE!! There is a SCAM regarding the purchase of Cane Corso Puppies in Cleveland, Ohio. Their name is Cane Corso Fortress/Cane Corso Nest/ Cane Corso Forever Puppies. His Name is Daniel Cooper. Seems legit in the beginning, but once you sign the contract and send the deposit to reserve the dog, he then asks for the remaining balance to get the dogs registered with AKC, after initially stating it's not due until pick up. He states, the remainder of the balance is used to cover the cost of registration. Well, I called AKC, they had no paper trail of said person, even when giving his phone number and address. Also, according to AKC website, it doesn't cost that much to register a dog, as he was claiming. He said he would refund me, which he failed to do, so i disputed with my bank. It so disheartening to know there are people out here like this. So, if i can save anyone the trouble from making the same mistake I did, I hope this post finds you. God Bless.
