Found job posting on Indeed. Listed as Cannabistry- remote data entry. Received a text to set up interview through app called Telegram. There I had my interview and offered the job. Next day they sent me a check via email to deposit to buy software to start the job. That a laptop would be sent to me. Looked more into the company and gut feeling told me something was wrong. Contacted company through Instagram and they confirmed I was not speaking to them. I had to close my bank account.
