I heard from a friend after a long time. She had good news for me. She "received" $110,000.00 and saw my name on the list. She wondered if I had gotten it yet.

I had a text off someone on fb Mesanger saying they had something to tell me and asked if I had heard off the CANYB as they say my name on the list , I went straight to google and realised it was a scam and replied with think you have been hacked this is a scam. That was the last I heard off them

I received a FB friend request from a random profile who messaged me asking if I'd heard of CANYB. Naturally, I responded with a no, and entertained the narrative by messaging the CANYB page and going forward with the conversation. I gave them a few details and they have given me a series of codes and are asking me to purchase a £50 iTunes voucher in order to validate my prize. This doesn't seem legit to me and I have received no solid proof that they have given any money away. I certainly wouldn't mind £10000 out of the blue ?

I have them messaging me right now,have been for an hour,keep telling them I'm busy and will reply shortly..Will be winding them up a little then finish with a huge thank you as I have received the £50,000..now 8.26pm, will update when I finish

10.39 just awaiting them sending account details with charity number so I can get my £500k donation doubled to £1m..their getting so excited now..not long now..I'm going to send a message to each phone number with a virus to shut their phones down

I'm still being informed that my name is among the winning names randomly picked...after a few more messages I have been asked how much I want to donate..now a message from CANYB themselves..trying to call too..must be getting very excited. Lol

I received a message in my messenger messages from an old friend asking, "I was wondering if you have heard the news news (CANYB) have you heard anything from them?"
I thought to myself what the hell is CANYB? So is this a scam? If it is. What kinda scam is it?

Hi I've been contacted by Frank regarding R 50 000 winnings. Frank has asked me to buy a R500 iTunes card as payment for delivery of my winnings. Now he has asked me not to inform Canyb of these actions. He has used a friend of mine Facebook account to get me to contact Canyb. This i did and was contacted by frank half an hour later. here is franks contact number. +27737820210.

Family member Facebook account hacked and starts normal messages 'hi how you doing'. Ignored as knew was scam then had another 'have you heard anything about CANYB" not surprised their account was hacked and when they messaged my partner the same thing a few minutes before I knew it wasn't actually them seeing how I was

An old friend from high school out of the blue sends a message on messenger asking if I got "Christmas and New Years Bonus" 150,000 dollars.

Asked him to send a picture of himself. He sent a pic from my friend's FB page. Also gave me another number to text: 234-243-5086. Name he gave me to text to is Lawrence Demech.

I do not know if this is a scam or not, but it sure doesn't seem legit to me.
