Two letters were sent by mail with Capital One headers and footers. The first letter stated that I needed to update my drivers license to sustain the car title. The phone number provided took you to Capital One's actual title department. The second letter said to call 1-800-946-0332. When they answered they confirmed the letter had been sent and asked for my social security number. They provided my husband's email address and updated it to mine, which I received a confirmation of afterwards. They "helped" me update my drivers license and last name on the account by sending me a docusign via email to submit my drivers license. They claimed that they would send me name change paperwork to be filled out and re-submitted within 5 business days. The paperwork was never received. Upon talking with Capital One's title department they confirmed that they never sent the letter or updated my drivers license on my account.
