I almost fell for them to buy the Chihuahua Annie… I needed more info and called and called… no answer just emails telling how to pay… left Message I was at bank ready to wire money and needed a quick question… they called me immediately… I asked for a video of the puppy and the guy yelled at me that he already sent photos… he sounded like he was from Pakistan and he couldn’t answer any questions about the care of a chihuahua which I know all about, as I had just lost my beloved chi of 16 years… the guy finally realized I knew he was a scammer and he hung up on me…. I noticed a month later they still advertised 11 week old Annie (same age) glad they are gone … they will burn in Hell.

I should’ve known better My bank advised me against it However, I wanted this chihuahua Teddy so bad. He reminded me of my older chi that I had just put to sleep which I’m out fir $12,000. Anyway, besides the point here and I would’ve paid anything to save my last chi.
With Capitol Puppies, they were pretty persistent that they either wanted to be paid through ZELLE or Amex gift cards
Not Pay Pal or any other protective pay method.
Another red flag, not only is $500. Low cost for a chi or most adorable pups
These pups seem to always be available
They don’t seem to age or they don’t keep up with their advertising
I told them I felt they were a scam and they said I ‘will’ get the puppy. So, against my better judgement, and wanting that pup so badly, I wired $500 Through ZELLE even after my bank called and advised me against it.
And then, Capitol Puppies told me they needed an additional $200. For shipping
Which they did not mention earlier ...so, yes, dummy me, wired another $200. So, now I’m out $700.
I had to keep on them for details I feel real foolish now. But I was heart broken over my chi that passed
Come Friday, 5/28/21, supposedly shipping day and I would have my Teddy /chihuahua pup. Capitol Puppies was demanding another $1200. For travel insurance expenses. Well, I knew right there and then, it was total scam. Yes there insurance for travel but it’s usually a cost between $200-$600. I did not pay.
I tried to get a hold of this Jerry guy that disconnected me 3 times. They seem to answer the phone early. But when you try to talk to this Jerry guy, he sounds like he’s stoned and plays stupid. UGH!
And no, I spoke sweetly and professionally to him and he still disconnected us after I ask him any sort of questions I reallyREALLY hope that he doesn’t have any of these puppies I would feel that they’re being mistreated
But yeh, of course there is not
However, early on they said that they’re not a scam and that I could pick the pup up in person if I prefer
I’ve since done my research A reputable and caring breeder would ask you questions, Almost interview you to see if you are a good person with a. Loving home Ok, I’m rambling. I’m out $700.

I paid $850 for a puppy from Capital puppies and have not received her yet and phone is not taking calls. I’ve called and have texted them since Thursday 5/13 when he said his vet was checking her and she we puke be shipped on Friday 5/14/2021

Spoke with someone and advised puppy I was interested in was $500. So I sent the money but no puppy ever showed up. The delivery company they used just kept asking for more money but no puppy showed up, I completed a Scam Alert on them as well. I emailed and called this company asking for a refund but no one ever replied. Took me for my money is all.
