Received a very legit looking letter from CapitalOne that says "We're working on your recent application for a Capital One Credit card" and requesting a government issued photo identification for my name. I have not submitted an application for a new card and called CapitalOne selected the option for status of application, typed in my social and it had no matches. The letter itself appears to be a scam.
