Scammer sent a text saying that Capital One had virulent charges on my credit card. That a fraud specialist would be calling me shortly. Afford specialist call me from the Capital One phone number and asked for my personal information which I gave and said that they were trying to track somebody in Apple in Florida who is using my credit card right now. They advise me to cut my credit cards in half put them in white envelopes and kori would come and pick them up which stupidly I did hand it to a white Hyundai that pulled up in front of my house. They proceeded to keep me on the phone for long periods of time while they were tracking my alleged credit card activity. So they have all my personal information and my two credit cards right now.

Received an email from CapitalOne for creditcard application received. I got fraud alert and upon checking found that its CapitalOne who has been hacked and hacker has targeted people like me from database to open CapitalOne creditcard accounts

I received a text message and then a email saying I have asked and received a 360 checking account from capital one. Then I received a text stating I have changed my phone number. I looked up capital ones phone number and told them. They transferred me to their fraud department. That department wanted my name , zip code , the account number, birthday and last 4 of my social security number. I then told them I would not give them my birthday or my social security number. They said they couldn't help unless I did. I told them to cancel it and that I was going to contact the better business bureau and report fraud to the police department. Then he said he would take care of it. A friend at work said her boyfriend got the same message on his phone.
