I responded to a Facebook ad that was advertising incredibly inexpensive genuine Maui Jim sunglasses, $39.00 plus a $10.00 shipping fee. I received an incorrect item.  I went back and forth with the merchant who failed to resolve the issue.  The vendor refused to pay for return shipping even though it was their mistake. I went to the PayPal resolution center to resolve the issue.  The merchant eventually agreed to a full refund but I had to cover the return shipping costs, $27.75! I’m out the return shipping costs and the merchant has their product back! Since this merchant is not an authorized MJ distributor (I checked with MJ). I strongly suspect the item I received was a knock off/counterfeit. I think their business plan is to send a customer any product knowing full well that most won’t go through the hassle of returning something to China.
