I was approached by this company (Moment Capture Studios), a man by the name of Steve Lynn.. claiming that they had gotten my resume from Indeed, which at the time seemed accurate because I am actively looking for a job having to do with Photography. The correspondence with the gentleman seemed okay...until I started looking into the grammar and how he didn't necessarily know English as his first language. The job was for a photo assistant job working with Moment Capture Studios for a shoot for Aviator Nation commercial in San Francisco at the Kimpton Buchanan Hotel. The travel expenses were to be covered in full by the Clientele. They were sending me a check in the amount of $3665 to which I was supposed to deposit immediately into my bank account (which seemed off) and they would have the travel agent call me to set up travel itinerary. They also sent me a contract to fill out. I did not make it far enough to fill it out as I was uncertain about the whole thing. I checked into this further, and contacted the Aviator Nation and they did indeed confirm that it was a scam. I am sharing this in hopes that no one else will be as convinced by this as I was.

This guy also has a LinkedIn account, with no picture, claiming he is CEO of Moment Capture Studios which has apparently been open since 2010.. I certainly hope he hasn't been getting away with these scams for this long. He didn't get any real information out of me. But its possible he could have gotten more from others.
